    Trata-se do grau comparativo dos adjetivos. No trecho em tela, "the tallest..." (o mais alto...) refere-se ao superlativo de superioridade, enquanto que a expressão "taller than..." (mais alto que...) referir-se-ia ao comparativo de superioridade.
