Vamos lá, em português dizemos, por exemplo: Você não me comprou um presente, comprou?

Repare que se antes usarmos negativo, depois da vírgula utilizaremos na forma positiva.

Sabendo disso, basta saber que em Inglês na forma direta usa, por exemplo, I did homework. E em formato de pergunta: Did you homework?
